Seed Drill
First, we should know what is a seed drill. Actually, it is a grain planter, which can be used for planting seeds by accurately distributing seeds in rows at a certain distance. This machine is designed for sowing seeds below the surface of the field. This machine performs seed sowing very efficiently. Working of seed drill machine is very simple. Basically, it consists a seed cum fertilizer box with a gear-driven spool and rotating reels that carry seeds falling into tubes to rows of discs that open the soil for the seed to fall into. This machine is pulled behind a tractor so that the farmer can sow grains like wheat, oats, mustard, and barley in a very short time and efficiently.
